Monday: Clothing Room

Monday was clothing room... it is humbling to be a part of the whole experience. Seeing God provide clothes and shoes for the refugees. It really isn't as simple as that... imagine yourself in a room that is tiny and only has 6 sections of clothing - that includes shirts, pants, t-shirts, shorts... then a space for about 20 pairs of shoes. At least 60 guys came through the clothing room yesterday and found something they needed. The only that can happen is through GOD's hands. He provided every item in that room that was needed by the men that would come yesterday.

How often do you go to several stores to find the right outfit - or how many of you have just spent lots of $$$$ on school clothes because your kids NEEDED them? Did they need them, did they physically grow out of their clothes and they NEEDED new clothes or did they grow out of their style?

I don't ask to make you feel guilty... I ask in hopes that it will remind YOU how blessed you really are. Even the refugees here are BLESSED as much as we are. We look at them as if they don't have much... but they have what they need - they just don't have the luxury to not be satisfied like we do. So my prayer for you is that you are satisfied with your life, with what you have and to not want more then what God is giving you.
