These are pictures of the camp as we went around it on our prayer walk... we could see a few windows opened with people peeking their heads out. The Oasis team will frequently walk around the camp to say a prayer for the people in there and the people working there.
Each year that I have gone it has always been a very quiet walk, but this year we heard a lot of laughter... it was men playing football (soccer). The laughter came at perfect timing because the kids were asking if the camp was a sad place to be. Then we heard the laughter... so the kids know that the camp isn't a joyous place to live, but it is a safe place and there is some joy happening there too :-)
