Prayer request

There are about 1000 refugees currently at the camp... mostly men. The Oasis team have been overwhelmed with the amount of men that have been attending their programs. Normally this would be a good thing, but recently they have seen that the men are just coming more for the free stuff. The mission of the Oasis team is to show God's love through word and deed, but if the programs are packed to the rim and the guys are only seeing other guys pushing and shoving for the free stuff... they aren't see God's grace, they are seeing human's greed.
Please pray for the men that come to the programs over the next two days... that they come with a heart of wanting to seek out more information about Jesus. Please pray for the men to have hearts of patience and grace with each other too... that no pushing, shoving or fighting will occur.
I also lift up the Oasis team, pray that they will know how to manage the amount of men that will be there over the next two days. Please pray for them to have the right words, to have patience and grace, to find the strength they need, and most of all help them to see God's joy in the work they are doing. Praise God for sending such amazing men and women to work at the Oasis... I wish you could all meet them, you would be inspired by them just as I am.

Serving Him Faithfully,
Jeni

  1. Praying that these men will be as hungry for Him as they are for the free stuff they come to The Oasis for.
